Directions

Travel north on the A9 and exit at the sign for Aviemore. Continue through the village towards the northern outskirts and after passing Grampian View turn left into Old Meall Road then right into Allt Mor. 
Take the first right and continue straight.

Self-catering walk-through

Kitchen/ breakfast area

Step through the front door and you are immediately drawn by the inviting aroma from the kitchen where a delicious home cooked meal awaits you in the slow cooker. On the table you will find a box of breakfast foods for your enjoyment in the morning. Looking around the kitchen there is a 6 seater dining table plus an abundance of appliances including the obvious ie cooker fridge/freezer dishwasher toaster and microwave together with an air fryer, slow cooker, coffee making machine pizza oven and ice making machine. Leading off this is the utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and a wine fridge, together with a stock of cleaning products iron and board,airer.In the cupboards there is a large selection of crockery and utensils. The double French doors lead out into the garden.

Lounge

Returning to the large lounge you will see that a fire has been laid in the log burner ready to light and there is a further supply of logs and kindling in the baskets. Two comfortable reclining 3 seater sofas and a 55in TV with a full Sky Q package await your enjoyment. There is also a music centre for your entertainment together with an electronic board games full screen table with many popular gamesThe double french doors lead into the front garden. You will also find the house guidance book together with information and maps for all local shops, takeaways, restaurants and local attractions. There is a further guide featuring local walks and bike rides together with detailed instructions for our outdoor games.

You will notice the pleasant temperature in the house which is served by underfloor heating giving a constant 20c all day and night

Hall/bedrooms

In the hall you will find a selection of books and games.

Leading off the hall is a full bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. There are 3 bedrooms off the hall, a twin bedded room with Sky Q tv package and a hairdryer, a king sized double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, Sky Q tv package, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a king sized double bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities, Sky Q tv package and a hairdryer. All bedrooms have ample storage space.

Garden

Wander into the garden through the french doors and you will notice that it is fully fenced making it secure for children and pets. A BBQ and seating area are conveniently placed, as is the private hot tub which is available all year round. An outside storage container holds a variety of outdoor games including basketball, archery, swing ball, badminton, boules, quoits and tumble bricks.

Games room

Step inside the games room and you will enjoy the infrared sauna,7ft slate bed pool table, air hockey table, table tennis, table football, darts, childrens darts, a retro electronic games table for 2 with over 100 games to play and a selection of sledges for winter.

Bike Hire

We have a selection of adults and childrens bikes for hire on site subject to availability together with a double seater bike trailer for toddlers and small children. Details are in the house book.

Health and safety

We take your health and safety seriously whilst you stay with us so please read the fire safety notices in the house and the hot tub health and safety guidance.

We decided to continue with our own Covid safety measures and so our cleaning regime is finished with a complete fogging of the house with anti viral chemicals before leaving.Guests have automatic entry via a keybox and no face to face meetings take place.We are however always available to deal with any queries or emergencies on 07969277529

What a wonderful house.Cairn View is such a lovely property and caters superbly for all generations.It is a real home from home.The house is spotlessly clean very comfortable and welcoming and is well equipped with everything you need and more to make a great holiday.Our grandchildren were kept busy all the time with the hot tub the games in the garage and garden and they loved the electronic games in the lounge.The meal left for us in the slow cooker was delicious and very welcome after a long journey with puddings left in the fridge and breakfast goodies left as well.We really did not want to leave.We could have easily stayed for much longer.When we visit Aviemore again this is the house we will definately book again to stay,so we can certainly recommend Cairn View

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this holiday house and could not have asked for more.The property truly had everything you could possibly need and then some.Every detail has clearly been thought through to make guests feel comfortable and at home.The location was perfect making it easy to explore the surrounding area while still feeling peaceful and private.After a day out it was such a treat to come back and unwind in the hot tub and sauna – both were spotless snd added a real touch of luxury to our stay.There was also no shortage of entertainment with great facilities like an air hockey table and pool table that kept everyone busy and having fun.Its ideal for families or groups looking for a mix of relaxation and activity.What really stood out though were the owners.They were incredibly helpful,friendly and always on hand if we needed anything,making the whole experience smooth and stress free.We would highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future

Stayed here more times than I can count.Perfect,comfy and a great location especially if you have a dog.What I like most is the attention to detail with the little extras automatically provided like toiletries and kitchen supplies which make being here so easy.Great spot for the orbital walks and it has a properly enclosed garden for little or big dogs alike so no need to worry at all

Fantastic house in a quiet area. Ideally located for walking into town along the Orbital path. Extremely comfortable beds with quality linen. Fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons for stay at home meals. The games room is a fabulous addition and was used daily,as was the hot tub. What a treat to arrive to a home cooked ( delicious ) meal ready for us in the slow cooker and the fire was prepared just ready to light! very thoughtful and much appreciated.Would not hesitate to recommend this property to families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing stay.

The beauty of this property is not just the fab location, the easy walk into town, the access to wonderful doggie walks with the north and south orbital paths, the properly secured garden for absolute peace of mind, or easy access to everywhere else for sightseeing. The absolutely fab thing about this property is the attention to detail with a stock of necessities to make a holiday cottage so much more enjoyable like tea, sugar, toilet rolls and even first night dinner in the slow cooker which blew me away. This is a 5 star place.
